The project was a large scale commission to brighten up 11 empty shop fronts on Union Street, in Broadmead - part of Bristol’s shopping quarter. The artwork was created digitally using a combination of scanned illustrations and hand rendered textures and effects. The finishing touches were added using markers.

The commission is part of a nationwide project developed by local Bristol business Blink Giant Media, a specialist large format display company, with the aim of working with local artists to bring vibrancy and interest back to empty shops and disused buildings in urban areas across the UK.
